After installing the agent you can put a local service online in under a minute: authenticate the agent, create an endpoint, then forward a local port to it.
Authenticate the agent
Save your auth token (generated from the dashboard). Tokens are scoped and revocable from the dashboard at any time.
# Save your auth token (from dashboard)
ngris auth --token {your-auth-token}
# Or set it via an environment variable
export API_TOKEN={your-auth-token}
Create an endpoint
Open Endpoints in the dashboard and click Create endpoint. The form picks a Root domain; everything else (TLS, agent provisioning, traffic policies) defaults sensibly and can be tuned per-endpoint after creation. On a shared system domain the endpoint name is auto-generated as a memorable word-word-word identity; custom names require a domain you own.
Forward a local port
Share your local app on port 3000 with a predictable subdomain:
ngris http 3000 --url myapp.ngris.com
# Output
# Session: online
# Forwarding: https://myapp.ngris.com -> http://localhost:3000
Force HTTPS (redirect HTTP to HTTPS with a 301) is enabled by default and is also available as a toggle on the endpoint Overview tab.
