Connect ngris to Claude Code and other AI clients (MCP server)

ngris runs an MCP server at mcp.ngris.com so you can drive your account from an AI client — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or any MCP-compatible client. You connect over OAuth, and from there you can deploy, open tunnels, set edge policy, and inspect traffic in natural language.

What you can do over MCP

  • Deploy sites and apps, and manage tunnels and endpoints.
  • Read and set edge policy (firewall, rate limits, traffic policies).
  • Inspect and search your traffic.

There are 150+ user-facing tools exposed, mapping to the same actions you can take in the dashboard.

Safe by default

Every write is confirmed before it runs. Read actions return information directly, but anything that changes your account is surfaced for you to confirm first — so an assistant can suggest and prepare changes without applying them on its own.

Connect from Claude Code

Add ngris as an MCP server pointing at https://mcp.ngris.com and complete the OAuth sign-in when prompted. Once connected, ask your client to do the work — for example:

# In your MCP-enabled client, once ngris is connected over OAuth:
# "List my ngris endpoints."
# "Deploy the current folder as a static site."
# "Add a rate limit of 10 req/min to my api endpoint." (it will confirm before applying)

See the Iris article for the in-dashboard AI assistant, which shares the same approve-before-write model.
